This is the Kizuyama Hard one for razor from Kyoto Japan. Kizuyama located in South Narutaki ( Higashinoyama ) area, a mine that relatively stiff natural whetstone. Rare & Hard to find Kizuyama itself these days ! The hardness approx.4.5+, good for razors. Water absorb speed is slow, better going on with Nagura. There is a dent on the bottom of the sharpening face.
