Reliable tactical telescopic butt FAB Defense GLR 16 with an adapter. Designed to replace the standard folding butt carbines on the basis of the AKS-74U, AKS-74, AK-10x (Vulcan-T, Vulcan-TC). The main problem of almost all folding adapters for these carbines is the inability to fold the stock completely (usually the adapter rests against the lock button), as well as the absence of fixing the stock in the folded state. In fact, this is not essential when transporting a carbine in a case, but it makes it impossible to carry a carbine on the shoulder with a folded butt.
In this model, similar deficiencies were eliminated. The standard adapter attachment unit is not used (when mounting the attachment pin, the butt is securely fixed in it when installed), and the adapter is equipped with its swivel mount, with a locking system that allows the adapter to be folded to the left 180 degrees, and ensuring the adapter is locked in the folded state. The adapter also has an attachment for attaching the belt (since, although the butt is equipped with a socket for attaching the quick-release QD of the attachment, however, its use is difficult when the butt is folded sideways).
The telescopic butt GLR-16 allows adjustment, which will allow you to choose the optimal butt length for the shooter.
The adapter is made of high-strength reinforced polymer, it is much lighter than steel analogs, allows independent installation, and does not require rework of the weapon.
