*Tip: Size Tops by Length
Long solid tops typically have an extra 1 inch of length over the regular hem and an extra 1.5 inches of sleeve length.
Short tops are typically 1 inch shorter than regular tops at the hem and 1.5 inches shorter at the sleeve.
What this means for you: In general, if your sleeves hit your knuckles when you lower your arms, or if you constantly pull your sleeves up, consider a short . If you sit on your jacket when you sit down, this is also a good time to consider a short . If your sleeves usually sit above your wrist when you lower your arms, consider a long . When you raise your arms above your head, if your stomach is showing, you should also consider a long .
Please note: Since body proportions vary from person to person, it is not uncommon for someone to need a top that is a different length than their pants. In other words, if you need a long top, it does not automatically mean that you need long pants.
