Description

Small knife with a short, straight blade. One of the most useful knives in the kitchen (included in the "chef's three"). Very handy for peeling fruits and vegetables and cutting small foods. The central layer is VG-10 high-carbon steel, which provides the knife with excellent cutting properties, has high wear resistance and hardness. Damask linings give great elasticity and prevent the central layer from breaking. The knife handle, made of micarta, lies comfortably in the hand, does not absorb odors and water, and is resistant to aggressive environments. Thanks to the presence of a second bolster made of medical steel 18-10 on the heel of the knife, the knives are perfectly balanced, which ensures maximum comfort during work. The Ran series knife will become a true decoration in any kitchen.

The VG-10 Super Steel blade heart material is composed of Cobalt, Molybdenum, Vanadium and Carbon. VG-10 stainless steel is overlaid with 34 layers on each side with alternating mild and hard high carbon steel for a total of 69 layers. A blade with a very sharp cutting angle. Our special heat treatment procedure gives the blade an extra hard - 61 points on the Rockwell scale. The handle is made of canvas-Mikarta Plus material. This material is odorless and extremely durable, made from resin and linen. The fabric material (linen) is dyed black and polished smoothly. This is the material of the last decades. The handle fits very tightly to the metal part and is secured with two rivets.
