HEZHEN X09 ZDP189 Damascus series features 24 layers of textured Damascus SUS420J2 stainless steel on each side of the blade and a core of Japanese premium high carbon stainless steel ZDP189, which provide excellent rust resistance and long-lasting sharpness retention, as well as its beauty. The handle is made of natural stabilized (resin-impregnated) wood and cupronickel inserts. Each handle is processed and polished using a complex multi-layer procedure specially designed to enhance and improve the excellent characteristics.
