Ultra-lightweight (1.3 kg) Dyneema® state-of-the-art composite plate, size 10 "x 12" (25cm x 30 cm), as part of a Kevlar class 3A body armor for NIJ (US National Institute of Justice) provide protection for class 3 NIJ (National US Institute of Justice) from: • 7.62 mm TT FMJ SSC (7.62x25 SSC); V = 430 + 15m / s (TT) • 7.62 mm AKM FMJ НSC (7.62x39 НSC); V = 730 + 15m / s (AKM) • 5.45 mm AK-74, 7.62 × 51 mm NATO bullet FMJ V = 838m / s. This corresponds to the 4th class of protection DSTU (Keeping the standard of Ukraine) or 5th class of protection GOST ( State Standard of Russia)
The plate conforms to the NIJ 0101.06 standard for Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor.
