The upgraded cover allows you to leave the native mechanical devices. It is a hybrid cover of the second generation and quick-detachable.
The main advantages of this product are two mounting points, as well as ergonomics, durability and light weight. The weight of the lid is 160 grams. The Picatinny rail, placed directly on the lid and being a monolithic whole with it, allows you to solve the main problem of Saiga hunting carbines - the installation of collimator or optical sights at a comfortable distance from the eye.
The lid is entirely milled from a single piece of 2024T aviation aluminum alloy, which ensures precision, strength and light weight. The cover is installed in the same way as the second generation covers, except that in the back there is an original design for fixing the return spring button and the rear latch does not change.
As a result, there are no backlashes and the STP does not change when removing and installing the cover.
