This is Ozuku Asagi finishing stone from Kyoto, For Finishing your Razor, Knife, woodworking tools, Particularly for Razor, its hardness is 5.0, means hardest. Ozuku fine slurry helps to regain your blade sharpness and it will last longer. Due to 10mm difference in the thickness, the sharpening face is inclines. Please set it on the base adjusting bond's volume for keeping horizontal.

No cracks or stray suji lines! Stone skin protrudes slightly on the sharpening surface, it is advisable to remove it when grinding the stone.
