The central layer is VG-10 high-carbon steel, which provides the knife with excellent cutting properties, has high wear resistance and hardness. The softer steel covers give the blade more elasticity and prevent the center layer from breaking. The knife handle, made of micarta, lies comfortably in the hand, does not absorb odors and water, and is resistant to aggressive environments. The Mon series knife will be a real decoration in any kitchen. The blade material of the Yaxell MON kitchen knife is a three-layer stainless steel with a core made of VG-10, hardness 61 HRC. Powdered steel is used in the production, as it provides a high level of cleanliness and strength: as a result, the blade becomes very hard, thus providing excellent blade sharpness. The handle is made of canvas-Mikarta Plus material. This material is odorless and extremely durable, made from resin and linen. The fabric material (linen) is dyed black and polished smoothly. This is the material of the last decades. The handle fits very tightly to the metal part and is secured with three rivets.
