Description

Gore-Tex bivy camouflage cover, or “Outer all-weather cover” from the US Army Modular sleep system (MSS). Designed to protect inner sleeping bags from bad weather, precipitation and dirt. Made from plain weave coated with nylon. It has a membrane layer - a Gore-Tex membrane. Waterproof, vapor permeable (breathable, releases condensation outside).

It has a zipper fastener protected by a wind and moisture protection strip from rain. It is additionally closed with fastenings on buttons. Just like the other layers, it has an adjustable, adjustable hood (with a built-in nylon cord and a cylinder (cylindrical) clasp), but here the cord tightening is complemented by a Velcro fastener, which allows you to “slam shut” from the wind or draft.
