Field sniper bracket - KRON1, designed for installation on all types of AK both 7.62 and 5.45: AKM, AKMS, AK-74, AKS-74, RPK, RPK-74, and AK-type hunting carbines.
Does not require the presence of a side bar of the "dovetail" type. Designed, patented and manufactured in Poltava, Ukraine.
The KRON has a base that is installed on the machine and a wing that holds the sight and is fixed to the base.
The KRON is securely attached in two supporting places - under the standard handle of the machine gun with its screw and in the hole for the magazine clip, and creates its own place on the machine gun for attaching optical devices, while the design of the own sighting devices does not change and their independent use and "cold shooting" is ensured.
KRON is made of steel - 65G, reliably protected from rust and has an ergonomic shape.
No modifications to the machine are required to install the CROWN, installation time is 5-10 minutes using a screwdriver.
The "Picatinny" U-shaped bar with a length of 150 mm is sufficient for installing most optical devices, for example: a collimator together with a magnifier, a thermal imager.
With installed optics through a U-like "Picatinny" you can use standard aiming devices.
The height from the cover of the receiver allows you to remove it with the CROWN installed and disassemble the machine gun. When removing and installing the KRON wing (by unscrewing and tightening the screws), aiming is preserved.
The distance from the shooter's eye to the sight is optimal for high-quality and fast aiming. The weight of the Krone and scope is distributed evenly between both hands.
