Takamura Kitchen knives
The Takamura family, founded 87 years ago in Takefu, Echizen, is now run by the 2nd and 3rd generation and looks back at the blacksmith tradition of the 700-year-old tradition. Mr. Takamura (pictured) was the first to manufacture R2 powder steel knives and developed this steel together with a steel manufacturer. Takamura Migaki R2 - a knife of a new series, which is made by hand. They have a very thin blade, also called a "laser knife." The three-layer core blade made of the popular R2 powder steel has an HRC 63, and the handles are made of Pakka laminated wood. Each Takamura Migaki R2 knife is hand-made in the traditional way, as has been done in Japan for over a thousand years and is therefore unique. Takamura Migaki R2 kitchen knives have an ultra-modern factory cut. Each Takamura Migaki knife comes in a beautiful gift box.
